Working with limited supervision, performs diversified, advanced, and confidential secretarial and administrative work. Provide assistance to SCRO Executive Director of Radiation Oncology, Physician Services, and the Medical Directors-Radiation Community Practices. Relieves department head of administrative detail. Uses discretionary initiative & judgement when scheduling clinic oversite, screening visitors & telephone calls, scheduling appointments & organizing workload to meet established priorities. Requires thorough knowledge of organizational unit policies, personnel and services.

- Prepares /coordinates all Network Radiation physician clinical schedules at all Network Radiation and hospital locations. Coordinates with Executive Director of Radiation Oncology, Physician Services, the assignment of locum and on-call coverages.
- Schedules and coordinates appointments and meetings, including preparing agenda materials. Arrange meetings, conferences, and travel for department personnel, ensuring alignment with appropriate calendars, including coordination with the Medical Director’s clinical schedules. Provides support in the planning and organization of special projects and departmental events.
- Coordinates and processes for approval all SCRO physician expense reimbursement processes.
- Organize and expedite flow of work through SCRO Physician Support Services office; initiating follow up action as appropriate.
- Resolve routine and some complex inquiries and fulfill requests from internal and external business contacts using knowledge of division/department & organization policies and procedures.
- Formats, types and edits a variety of complex or technical material, including correspondence, memos, reports, presentations and confidential material.
- Establishes, maintains & has frequent access to confidential files, logs & records.
Your qualifications should include:
- Two years post-High School, Trade, Business or Professional School. Experience may substitute for minimum education requirements.
- 2-4 years secretarial experience

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $26.08 - $37.81 / hour
The estimated pay scale represents the typical [salary/hourly] range City of Hope reasonably expects to pay for this position, with offers determined based on several factors which may include, but not be limited to, the candidate’s experience, expertise, skills, education, job scope, training, internal equity, geography/market, etc. This pay scale is subject to change from time to time.
