We are seeking a full-time, Board-Certified Medical Physicist at our Upland site. The successful applicant will be part of a growing team of 20+ Medical Physicists across all sites here in Southern California, including Duarte and Irvine. City of Hope is a private, non-profit clinical research center, hospital, and graduate school in Southern California, providing high quality cancer care across four (4) states. Receiving its NCI designation in 1981, City of Hope is committed to providing comprehensive cancer care and its status as a leading cancer center.
As a successful candidate, you will:
Initiate and develop procedures for calibration and data collection of newly established programs
Participate in Brachytherapy treatment planning and loading of radioactive sources
Ensure that all assignments (including recurring assignments) are completed as scheduled
Your qualifications should include:
PhD
24 months clinical work in Radiation Physics or graduation from a CAMPEP program
ABR or ABMP or eligibility plus certification within 2 years of hire
Salary Range: $195,603/yr - $255,257/hr - $314,163/yr/ $94.04/hr - $122.72/hr - $151.04/hr
