This position provides senior administrative support to physicians in the Medical Oncology department. Emphasis on calendar and meeting management/scheduling, email, travel scheduling, and expense reimbursements. Will typically work 3 days per week on-site
As a successful candidate, you will:
Use Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Word, and Excel in tasks including calendar management, meeting scheduling, note taking, and business expense reimbursement.
Compile information and prepare reports.
Make appointments and travel arrangements.
Screens visitors and telephone calls.
Attend staff meetings and record minutes.
Prepare confidential and special reports including periodic statistical reports.
May train and direct clerical staff.
Your qualifications should include:
High school diploma or GED and some vocational/specialized training. Experience may substitute for minimum education requirements.
3-5 years responsible secretarial or clerical experience in a professional environment.
Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
Demonstrated calendar management experience.
Strong multi-tasking skills.

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $26.55 - $37.17 / hour
The estimated pay scale represents the typical [salary/hourly] range City of Hope reasonably expects to pay for this position, with offers determined based on several factors which may include, but not be limited to, the candidate’s experience, expertise, skills, education, job scope, training, internal equity, geography/market, etc. This pay scale is subject to change from time to time.
