The University of Louisville's Kent School of Social Work is seeking to hire a Part-Time Temporary - Academic Support Specialist III.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Process student applications for practicum including; advising students on practicum opportunities, navigating students through the referral, interviewing, and placement confirmation process
Secure required documentation from students, practicum instructors and task supervisors and community organizations
Maintain accurate and current information about placement sites and assigned students listed in the practicum tracking software program including entering regularly contacts, documenting process and updating data as needed
Attend weekly individual supervision andteam meetings
Complete other duties as assigned
Requires occasional travel between University buildings
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in social work
Have at least two years’ experience as a practicum instructor or practicum liaison, preferably with Kent School students
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Publisher.
