A postdoctoral position is immediately available in the Yue laboratory in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, College of Pharmacy at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. The Yue laboratory is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to conduct NIH-funded projects on drug transport proteins. The postdoctoral fellow will study the role and regulation of drug transporters in drug disposition, aiming to mitigate transporter-mediated drug-drug and drug-disease interactions. Multi-disciplinary approaches are utilized in the Yue research program. These approaches include 1) sandwich-cultured primary human hepatocytes; 2) gene-knockout models; 3) proteomics; 4) molecular and cell biology approaches, including confocal microscopy; 5) pharmacogenomics studies; and 6) physiologically-based pharmacokinetic (PBPK) modeling and simulation.
