Job Description
Postdoctoral and Project Scientist positions are available in the laboratory of Dr. Xi Fang in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). Our studies focus on understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying cardiac development and disease. We utilize a multi-disciplinary approach, combining molecular, cellular, developmental, and physiological techniques to uncover novel therapeutic targets and approaches for the prevention and treatment of cardiac diseases. In recent years, our work has focused on cardiolipin metabolism, mitochondrial cardiomyopathy, and mitochondrial stress responses in the heart.
