Job Description
A post-doctoral researcher position for a collaboration project between Guangzhou University (China) and Chonnam National University (Korea) is now open for applications.
We are seeking an outstanding post-doctoral researcher with strong and logical English writing abilities, capable of independently preparing "functional hydrogels" for various applications such as biosensors, actuators, and energy harvesting and storage devices.
Applicants should be under 35 years old and have obtained their Ph.D. within the last three years. They should have a background and experience in:
- Functional hydrogels
- Physical, mechanical, and electrical characterization of fabricated hydrogels
- Hydrogel applications
Preferably in the fields of Chemical Engineering, Polymer Chemistry, or Polymer Physics.
The selected researcher will receive approximately 400,000 RMB per year, with the actual salary ranging from 360,000 to 440,000 RMB per year depending on performance. Additional incentives will be provided based on the quality and quantity of papers published in top-tier international journals.
The contract period is two years, during which the researcher will spend the first year at Prof. Xu Wu's Lab at Guangzhou University, China, and the second year at Prof. Insu Jeon's Lab at Chonnam National University, Korea, to leverage the collaborative synergy between both labs.
The contract may be extended up to four years based on the researcher’s performance. Exceptional performance may lead to potential employment as a staff at Guangzhou University.
