Cancer Biology Postdoctoral Fellow

The Jiang Lab (https://lab.moffitt.org/jiang/ ) in the Department of Molecular Oncology is now recruiting postdoctoral fellows. Research in our lab sits at the interface of redox biology, metabolism and signaling, and focuses on understanding the role of antioxidant systems in cancer therapy resistance. We combine frontier molecular, genomic, proteomic, and metabolic approaches to address these questions.

The Ideal Candidate:
- Interested and motivated in addressing fundamental questions in cancer biology, cancer metabolism, and redox biology.
- Experience with proteomics or drug screening is highly desirable.
- A background in biochemistry and molecular biology with an emphasis on signal transduction, redox biology, or metabolism is desirable.
- Can work well as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Leading and driving research projects.
- Communicating with PI on research progress.
- Collaborating with our team members, including technicians, students, and other postdoc fellows.
- Present and report research findings in meetings, conferences and journal publications.
Credentials and Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in molecular biology, cancer biology or related field is required.
- Strong work ethic, motivation to lead and drive projects independently.
