Job Description
A postdoctoral position is available in the Department of Dermatology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center (CUIMC) to develop novel engineered cellular immunotherapies for the treatment of B cell-mediated autoimmune diseases in dogs and humans.
The position will provide unique bench-to-bedside experience in the preclinical development of genetically-engineered cellular immunotherapies. The ideal candidate will have experience with cloning and basic molecular biology techniques, flow cytometry, basic T cell biology, lentiviral design and production, mouse or canine models of disease, as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills. Candidates must have a VMD, MD, and/or PhD or equivalent degree. The position may involve training in cellular immunotherapy at the University of Pennsylvania (Philadelphia, PA) through early 2024.
