Skeletal and Cell Biology Postdoctoral Fellow
An NIH-funded postdoctoral position is immediately available in Dr. Haitao Wang’s laboratory in the Department of Physiology and Biomedical Engineering at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN, USA. The group uses cutting-edge cellular and molecular biology techniques, histology, 3D imaging, as well as mouse models to study the function of primary cilia in heterotopic ossification of muscle and tendons. Candidate must have a Ph.D., self-motivation, high productivity, and a strong background in standard molecular and biological techniques, cell culture, and animal models. Previous experience in skeletal biology is preferred but not required. The position requires the ability to lead projects and work cooperatively with others, carry out and troubleshoot experiments, and assist in grant and manuscript writing.
