Job Description
We are looking for highly motivated and dynamic young scientists to fill several Postdoctoral positions in advanced semiconductor nanostructures and quantum devices for high-mobility electronics, photonics, quantum information, sensing, imaging, and renewable energy. Successful candidates will be involved in one of the following projects:
CMOS-compatible integrated short-wave and mid-wave infrared photonic and optoelectronic devices.
Nuclear spin engineering in silicon-germanium for qubits and quantum emitters.
Phononic and thermal devices.
Silicon-compatible hybrid solar cells and thermophotovoltaics.
Group IV ultrafast detectors for optical communication.
Next-generation X-ray detectors and imaging devices.
Candidates for these positions must demonstrate world-class expertise in one or more of the following areas: epitaxy, fabrication, and characterization of semiconductor devices, photonics, optoelectronics, advanced characterization of materials (transport, optical and electro-optical techniques, transmission electron microscopy, atom probe tomography, synchrotron facility, etc.), semiconductor device simulations and modeling.
