One position as a postodoc or research scientist is available immediately to participate in NIH and USDA sponsored research projects, developing nanoparticle-based vaccines, in the department of Biological Systems Engineering at Virginia Tech. Viginia Tech is a tier one research institution located in the beautiful town of Blacksburg, Va. The successful candidate will closely work with Dr. Chenming (Mike) Zhang on assembling various nanoparticles as potential vaccines. Animal test of the vaccine candidate will be carried out. The successful candidate will also have opportunities to be involved in grant writings, graduate student mentoring, and project leading.
