Job Description
As a postdoctoral fellow in our lab, you will be joining a team of passionate researchers who are dedicated to advancing the field of innate immunity and respiratory viruses. Our research projects are focused on understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying the immune response to respiratory viruses, with the ultimate goal of developing effective vaccines and pan-antivirals. You will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge research projects that have been published in high-impact journals such as Immunity, Nature Communications, Journal of Experimental Medicine, Cell Stem Cell, and Journal of Immunology.
As a member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and executing experiments, analyzing data, and presenting your findings at national and international conferences. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of scientists, including graduate students, technicians, and faculty members, and will be expected to contribute to the development of novel research hypotheses, experimental design, and data analysis.
To be successful in this position, you should have a Ph.D. in Immunology, Virology, or a related field, with a strong background in molecular biology, cell biology, and/or immunology. Experience working with mice or respiratory viruses, such as influenza or coronavirus, is not required, but it is a plus. We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds and encourage those who are interested in learning new techniques to apply. The ideal candidate will have a track record of publishing research articles in high-impact peer-reviewed journals and will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
