Job Description
The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative research environment and has a broad understanding of health care systems, population health, and health-related data. Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to conduct cross-disciplinary research are key selection criteria. Candidates should have a doctoral degree in behavioral health public health. social work, psychology or related disciplines. Substantive interest in health services research related to mental health and addictions is preferred.
Candidates should have a prior history of co-leading sponsored projects and collaborating in translational scientific environments. Candidates should also have experience in the design, implementation and analysis of applied, population health focused research studies. This position is a remote position.

Education Required:
Master's Degree in Health Science or related field.
Experience Required:
Typically requires 4 years of experience in health care, academic or industry settings.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
Expert in research methods associated with particular discipline / training.
Expert with statistical software (R, SAS, STATA, or SPSS).
Excellent in data management, cleaning, and analysis of large datasets.
Excellent experience in providing consultations with scientists and investigators.
Proficient with MS-Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and relational databases (e.g., REDCap)
Demonstrated ability to lead teams on complex projects. Customer service orientation.
Demonstrated ability to work independently. Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to multi-task under pressure, meet deadlines and work with high degree of accuracy.
Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and project management skills. Demonstrated ability to build collaborative working relationships.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated ability to effectively communicate analytic findings in internal and external meetings/conferences and publications. Experience with publications as co-author or lead author and grant submissions as co-investigator.
Experience with electronic health records and other data collection databases.
