Job Description
Responsibilities
You will lead or co-lead one or more key projects in the lab. Current projects include:
-Mechanisms of resistance to chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapies in B-cell lymphomas. We have revealed key genomic findings in tumors that associate with resistance, but how do these changes thwart these exciting new cellular immunotherapies? You will have the chance to reveal mechanisms in sophisticated animal model systems.
-Assessment of a novel kinase target in the therapy of aggressive B-cell lymphomas. Through innovative drug screening, we have discovered a novel kinase drug target essential to cell cycle progression by aggressive B-cell lymphomas. You will assess mechanisms of cell-cycle perturbation and help develop novel inhibitors we are synthesizing and will bring forward to clinical evaluation.
-Mechanisms of adaptation to disruption of cap-dependent translation by lymphomas including key impacts on tumor microenvironments. We are among the first to bring forward cap-dependent translation modulators to clinical assessment in lymphoma patients. Reprogrammed translation machinery and rewired immune microenvironments provide novel ways to leverage the impact of these unique emerging therapies.
Qualifications
