Job Description
Are you an ambitious qualitative researcher looking for your next challenge? Do you want to further your career in one of the UK’s leading research intensive Universities?
This is an exciting opportunity for a post-doc researcher to join a thriving applied health research team with a commitment to supporting and developing its members. The Leeds Institute of Clinical Trials Research (LICTR) is looking to appoint a highly motivated Research Fellow to work for 21 months on a National Institute for Health Research (Health Services and Delivery Research Programme) funded study entitled, ‘Pressure Ulcer Prevention at Home: Pressure ulcer prevention for people with long-term neurological conditions (LTNCs) who self-manage care and live at home. A participatory intervention development approach’.
The study aims to develop a systems map and Theory of Change (ToC) pathway to facilitate the development of a multi-component intervention to support PU risk identification and management in partnership with people with LTNC who self-manage care and live at home. It will use an innovative partnership approach with extensive input from those whose lives are the focus of the research and incorporate 4 work packages; the development of two co-operative Inquiry Groups (CIGs), Peer-to-peer Interviews, Stakeholder engagement and Participatory Systems Mapping and Theory of Change (ToC) Pathway development exercise.
