Job Description
We are searching for a highly motivated, self-driven scientist to fill a postdoctoral fellow position in cancer research. The main effort of the laboratory is to develop novel therapeutics to overcome drug resistance in cancer, primarily cancers overexpressing EGFR and/or HER2, or carrying mutated p53. The applicant should be proficient in laboratory skills for cell biology, molecular biology and pharmacology. Fundamental knowledge about signal transduction pathways and cancer pharmacology is beneficial. Experience working with mouse tumor models is preferred.
The successful candidate will be proficient in writing scientific publications and verbal presentation of research data. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Pharmacology, Cell Biology, or related discipline. The salary provided will be according to the NIH recommendations.
