Job Description
Professors Brian Grady and John Klier of the University of Oklahoma (OU) School of Chemical, Biological and Materials Engineering seeks to hire a research fellow to help with research related to the use of coatings on metal and resultant corrosion prevention.This position will be located at the University of Oklahoma in Norman, OK, USA. The research associate will work with Prof. Grady and Klier as well as personnel from the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Complex (OC-ALC). We seek candidates whose research, education, and/or service has prepared them to be integral contributors to the advancement of our inclusive and diverse communities. You must have Experience pursuing research, both independently and as part of a research team; experience writing research manuscripts and with research publication process and a demonstrated curiosity, creativity, and enthusiasm to learn new skills. Experience with coatings and an understanding of corrosion mechanisms is desired but not required for those that have a doctoral degree.

This position is for 1-2 years, assuming satisfactory performance, at an expected salary of $60,000/year.
