Job DescriptionThe Hong lab at California State University Northridge (CSUN) is seeking a Postdoctoral scientist to conduct research related to the behavior and development of the nematode Pristionchus pacificus. The NIH funded project will involve functionally characterizing chemosensory cells by knocking out putative transcription factors (TFs) that control neuronal fates, along with silencing and monitoring of cell-specific neuronal activities.
Candidates with an interest in neurodevelopment and evolution, as well as aspirations to teach and mentor students from a wide-range of backgrounds are encourage to apply.
