Job DescriptionThe University of Tennessee, Knoxville - College of Nursing is seeking a highly qualified candidate for a two-year healthcare geography post-doctoral fellowship on advancing the science to improve the health of children at end of life. This fellowship provides a richly mentored experience for scholars committed to multidisciplinary and collaborative research in healthcare geography. This position will support research efforts in pediatric end-of-life and palliative care (EOLPC) science, while receiving advanced training from a designated NIH Principal Investigator to enhance professional skills and research independence needed to pursue a career of independent scholarship. This post-doctoral position will join an established team led by Dr. Lisa C. Lindley, which operates at a distance.
The postdoctoral fellow is provided opportunities to:

Annual stipend/benefits: The annual stipend for this position is $50,000. This position is for up to two years, contingent upon successful progression during year one. Eligibility: Applications are welcome from nurses and non-nurses with a research doctorate or those nearing completion of a doctoral degree with a demonstrated commitment to scholarship in health. Preference given to applicants with histories of prior research funding and first-authored data-based publications in refereed journals. Fellowships are open to eligible U.S. citizens. Applicants from groups underrepresented in nursing and health care are encouraged to apply.
