This postdoctoral position is focused improving antibody discovery and engineering in order to obtain antibodies with drug-like properties, including high specificity, low off-target binding, high solubility and low viscosity. The project combines antibody library design, in vitro antibody discovery, cell-based sorting and next-generation sequencing to develop robust methods and predictive tools for improving the generation of drug-like antibodies.
The duties of this position involve using molecular biology methods to generate antibody libraries and screening antibody libraries using yeast surface display and FACS. This position also involves performing next-generation sequencing of antibody libraries, and producing and characterizing the isolated
PhD in engineering, life sciences, pharmaceutical science, chemistry, physics or related fields. Required skills include some experience with either molecular biology or biochemistry.
