Post-doc position: Microbolometer (UNIST Prof. Dai-Sik Kim)
- Location: ULSAN, Korea, South
- Job Number: 7059854
- Posting Date: Aug 28, 2019
- Application Deadline: Open Until Filled
Job DescriptionThe Center for Atom Scale Electromagnetism at UNIST (Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology), led by Distinguished Professor Dai-Sik Kim, is currently seeking a brilliant and highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to join the laboratory for developing new-concept micro bolometers for the long wavelength infrared radiation (LWIR) region. This position may evolve into a commercialization effort of the said product with a potentially substantial reward of financial nature.
This position is to work with Prof. Dai-Sik Kim to design, develop and characterize a new class of detectors aiming for high-sensitivity longwave infrared bolometers by incorporating nano-antennas on bolometers. In particular, the ideal candidate should have demonstrated expertise on the design, development and characterization of bolometers in longwave infrared regime. Specific experience in the optoelectronic characterization of bolometers in this spectral regime as well as their computational modeling will be considered an essential asset. Feel free to contact us if you are interested (Prof. Dai-Sik Kim, email@example.com).
Eligibility: Ph.D. in related disciplines
Salary: KRW 36,000,000 ~ (negotiable)
The term of a contract: The initial contract term is for a year (the contract is extended yearly based on performance evaluation)
A complete application packet should be sent to Prof. Dai-Sik Kim by e-mail and should include:
