A postdoctoral position is available in Dr. Betty Kim’s laboratory at MD Anderson Cancer Center. We are looking for highly self-motivated candidates with a PhD or MD/PhD degree with tumor immunology expertise. Project topics include but are not limited to metastasis of cancer cells, cancer cell biology and migration and development of novel, targeted therapeutic interventions.
A successful candidate must have a strong background in multicolor flow cytometry of immune cells, drug therapy in mouse models of cancer.
Our laboratory has a broad interest in the design of novel immune nanomedicines and immunotherapy strategies to optimally diagnose and treat solid tumors. We also use advanced bioimaging platforms that enable real-time, long-term tracking and characterization of specific immune interactions involved in human diseases including stroke, cancer and neurodegenerative diseases. We have a multi-disciplinary team in tumor immunology, bioengineering, nanotechnology, advanced in vivo imaging. Our lab has published extensively in these areas (Nature Nanotechnology, Nature Biomedical Engineering, Nature Reviews Immunology, JCI among others).
Please submit a curriculum vitae and a brief cover letter, including contact information for 3-5 references to Dr. Kim by email: email@example.com
