Prof. Lei Li’s group at the Department of Chemistry & Chemical Biology at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) is seeking a motivated and skilled synthetic organic chemist as a postdoctoral fellow. The candidate will become a member of a multidisciplinary team utilizing organic synthesis, DNA photochemistry and mass spectrometry to investigate the chemical properties/reactivity of DNA lesions. The applicant should have a PhD degree in organic chemistry, possess strong synthetic skills and be interested in applying his/her skills to understand nucleic acids chemistry and biochemistry. A brief description (1-2 pages) of past research, CV and a list of 3 references are required.
