A postdoctoral position is immediately available in the laboratory of Dr. Neetu Gupta in the Department of Immunology at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner Research Institute.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cellular immunology with deep interest in and understanding of B cell biology and signal transduction as evidenced by recent publications. Proficiency in common immunological and molecular biology techniques (including, but not limited to, ELISA, multi-color flow cytometry, DNA and protein electrophoresis, western blotting, PCR, transfection), and mouse models of disease is required. Additional experience with confocal and/or TIRF microscopy is highly desirable. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team of basic and translational immunology researchers to investigate molecular mechanisms regulating B lymphocyte effector functions in the context of inflammation and autoimmunity.
