A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Neetu Gupta in the Department of Immunology at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner Research Institute.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in lung biology as evidenced by recent publications, and a keen interest in investigating asthma pathology. Proficiency in common immunological and molecular biology techniques − ELISA, multi-color flow cytometry, DNA and protein electrophoresis, western blotting, PCR, transfection − and mouse models of asthma is required. Additional experience in fluorescence microscopy/histology is desirable (but not required). The successful candidate will join a dynamic team of basic and translational immunology researchers to investigate novel regulators of airway inflammation and hyperresponsiveness.
