Job Description
We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated environmental scientist to join us to work on an exciting EU project - WaterLANDS - focussing on wetland restoration. You would be expected to undertake literature reviews, meta analysis, data compilation, conceptual development and a survey of wetland scientists and practitioners. You would be expected to have experience or expertise in one or more aspects of wetland science such as ecology, water quality, biogeochemistry, hydrology, or carbon cycling. The successful candidate should have excellent communication skills and be able to manage collaborative working with the Leeds WaterLANDS team, the European project partners, and engage with local peatland practitioners in northern England.
The work may involve travel to occasional project meetings in other European countries.
