Job Description

The Prives lab is seeking an Associate Research Scientist to conduct experiments into how cells transmit signals from genotoxic stress to regulate p53and its homologues p63 and p73. The incumbent will also study the mechanisms by which the turnover of different p63 isoforms is regulated afterDNA damage, as well as identifying cellular proteins that interact specifically with p63 and p73 and how these interactions affect their functions. The incumbent will also look into using the information derived from the basic research on these proteins to develop p53-based cancer therapeutics.
