Job Description
Summary
We are seeking a postdoctoral fellow to join our team. Our research program is focused on tobacco use in special and underserved populations, including community-based low socioeconomic status populations, clinic-based populations, people living with HIV and cancer patients. A common theme of the program is the use of mHealth technologies for assessment and intervention delivery.
The fellow will be part of the Department of Health Outcomes and Behavior in the Division of Population Science. The mentors, Jennifer I. Vidrine, PhD and Damon J. Vidrine, DrPH, have several ongoing NCI-funded RCTs, data from completed trials, and access to other research-related resources. The goal of this postdoctoral experience is to prepare the fellow for a career as an independent investigator. There is funding available for at least 2-years.

• Write peer reviewed publications (first author and co-author)
• Give local and national scientific presentations

• Assist with ongoing research projects
Credentials and Qualifications:
Applicants must have a terminal degree (Ph.D., Ed.D., Sc.D., D.P.H. or M.D.) in a social science, a behavioral science, nursing, education, public health or medicine and be committed to a career in tobacco-related research.
