Job DescriptionPostdoctoral position available to study basic mechanisms of tumor cell metabolism and their modulation with anti-cancer treatments, based on our recent work (http://www.cell.com/cell/pdfExtended/S0092-8674(15)01706-7). Our lab is situated in the Longwood Medical Area in Boston and part of the BIDMC as well as Dana Farber Harvard Cancer Center (DFHCC), with many interdisciplinary collaborations. Academic appointment with Harvard Medical School. This is an opportunity for a highly motivated individual who will be able to make use of the many resources readily available.
Recent Ph.D. graduates are strongly preferred. Applicants should have expertise in molecular and cell biology, in advanced microscopy techniques, and in working with mouse models. Skills in big data mining a plus. First author publication(s) in peer-reviewed, English-language journals are necessary. Ability to work independently, along with creativity, high motivation and a strong work ethic, are important.
