Do you have an interest in highly translational melanoma research to explore novel melanoma susceptibility genes? If so, we are seeking an individual for a postdoctoral fellowship in the Arbesman lab at Cleveland Clinic.
Our work centers on the functional characterization of novel melanoma susceptibility genes with long-term goals of drug development for novel preventive agents. The post-doctoral fellow will work in a multidisciplinary environment that engages with clinical work, bioinformatics and pre-clinical investigation, interfacing specifically with the Gross Familial Melanoma Registry. The candidate should have a PhD and/or MD, with relevant laboratory experience in molecular and cell biology, biochemistry, DNA repair and/or related disciplines.
