Job DescriptionPosition Summary
Indiana University aims to hire two postdoctoral fellows with expertise in bioanalytical chemistry, as a part of a new Indiana University Center of Excellence for Exosome Research.
Exosomes are a class of extracellular vesicles that can deliver cargo from one cell to another in a targeted manner. The initial appointment for this position will be for 12 months. The appointment may be extended based on performance and/or availability of funds. A competitive set of benefits including health insurance, 403(b) retirement plan, dental coverage, etc. is included. IU will not sponsor an H1-B visa for this position.
Qualified candidates will should have a Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related area of biotechnology, and experience with developing or using advanced bioanalytical separations and characterization techniques such as: emerging bioanalytical techniques involving chromatography, mass spectrometry, imaging and microscopy, other related high-throughput ‘omics-based methodologies, or new strategies for particle synthesis and enrichment.
