Job DescriptionThe Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine has an exciting opportunity for a Postdoctoral Associate. This position will be based in Dr. Murray Deutscher's laboratory which focuses on RNA metabolism in bacteria with particular emphasis on the ribonucleases that carry out these reactions. The Postdoctoral Associate will continue studies on the role of REP sequences and other stem-loop structures in regulating translation by the mechanism of trans-translation.
The minimum qualifications for this position are as follows: Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a life science field of study.
