PRIMARY PURPOSE/GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Provide Tutor support for Summer Biochemistry faculty of the Keck Science Department, through the Post-Bac Premed Program.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This information is intended to be a descriptive of the key responsibilities of the position. The list of essential functions below does not identify all duties performed by any single incumbent in this position. Perform other duties as assigned.
Job duties will include: holding weekly office hours determined by the course Instructor. The Instructor may assign additional tasks as needed.
Active support for the College’s Principles of Community and Principles of Diversity in the performance of job duties.
Job duties will include: Tutoring summer students during afternoon and evening hours.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
Individuals must possess knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the essential functions of the position, or be able to explain or demonstrate how the essential functions will be performed, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.
Ability to lead tutor sessions and work cohesively with others.
Must have completed Biochemistry courses in good academic standing.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Previous Tutor experience is preferred.

This is a temporary, part-time, non-benefits eligible, non-exempt position.
This temporary assignment is expected to begin on June 17, 2019 and is scheduled to end on or before July 12, 2019.
