The Department of Religious Studies at DePauw University invites applications for a three-year teaching post-doctoral appointment, beginning August 2019. A commitment to teaching undergraduates in a liberal arts setting and evidence of effective and inclusive pedagogy are essential. Ph.D. defense in Religious Studies must be successfully completed by the time of hire. Candidates should be able to teach lower-level courses in comparative religion/world religions and lower- and upper-level courses in Christianity. Area of specialization open. The position includes a four-course teaching load (2/2), employment benefits, faculty development, presentation opportunities, and mentoring.
