Departments of Pediatrics and Molecular & Human Genetics Baylor College of Medicine, which are based in the Texas Medical Center, the world’s largest medical center and a vibrant and collaborative research environment.
An opportunity is available for a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to explore fundamental questions in mammalian developmental epigenetics. Our lab focuses on genome-wide analysis of DNA methylation, with specific interests in causes and consequences of human interindividual epigenetic variation, and epigenetic mechanisms of body weight regulation. The successful candidate will work independently and take a leading role, under the guidance and supervision of the PI.
Candidates must be recent recipients of a Ph.D. with good publications in a relevant discipline.
Individuals with backgrounds in epigenomics, genetics, cell biology, neuroscience, developmental biology, computer science, and nutrition are encouraged to apply.
