Opportunities are available for two postdoctoral research positions at the State Key Lab of Radiation Medicine and Protection, School of Radiological and Interdisciplinary Sciences, Soochow University, Suzhou China. We focus on advanced nanotechnologies in biology and radiation medicine. We have three research interests: 1) understanding the interactions of nanoparticle-cell/bacteria; 2) Developing new nanotechnologies for radiation medicine; 3) Evaluate the toxicity of nanoparticles in animal lungs or environmental microbial. Succeeded candidates will work with Dr. Ruibin Li, who is a full professor in the State Key Lab of Radiation Medicine and Protection, Soochow Univerisity. Dr. Li was supported by the “Thousand Youth Talents” program in 2016 (http://fyxy.suda.edu.cn/nano/html/jiaoshou/130.html). The lab environment is highly supportive for further scientific training and career development. Successful candidates have the choice to become associate research fellow after postdoc training.
A PhD degree in nanoscience, environmental science, bioengineering, radiological medicine or other related fields is required. Previous working experience with cells, bacteria or mice is highly desired.
300-400K RMB/year (45-65K Dollar/year).
