The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine has an exciting opportunity for a Postdoctoral Associate. This position will execute and manage a research project which investigates mechanisms underlying Schwann Cell and astrocyte intermingling in vitro and in vivo. The studies involved are described in a NIH funded proposal. The Postdoctoral Associate will help with the design of the protocols and experiments needed to complete the studies, disseminate research results in peer-reviewed journals and via public presentations, and pursue additional funding opportunities.
The minimum qualifications for this position are as follows: Ph.D. in Behavioral Neuroscience, Motor Control, Biomedical Engineering or a closely related field of study.
