MINIMUM NUMBER OF YEARS AND TYPE OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE:
Must have at least 5 years of postdoctoral experience in cell biology, molecular biology and/or biochemistry. Must also have more than 3 years of experience in handling of rodents. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in cellular mechanisms and effects of MAGE transcription factors on melanoma progression.
This position is ideal for highly motivated individuals who are interested in skin biology and cancer treatment research.
Our research is focused on two broad and complementary research areas; 1) skin biology, and 2) expression and functions of MAGE transcription factors. The position is ideal for highly motivated individuals who are interested in skin biology and cancer treatment research.
This is an independent non-tenure-track research position, studying transcriptional regulation of melanogenesis. Applicants should have demonstrated scientific productivity, good interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), and should be able to do multitasking as well as team-projects. Candidate will be expected to handle independent project(s), write manuscripts, contribute to preparation of grant proposals as key personnel, and present data at national and international meetings.
