A postdoctoral fellowship is open immediately. The primary project will involve behavioral training in rodents followed by electrophysiology experiments to determine changes in synaptic plasticity in different brain regions. We are engaged in research pertaining to glutamate receptors and have found several exciting avenues. The candidate will therefore have additional opportunity to engage in these new areas of research. We are currently using a number of techniques including behavior, electrophysiology, imaging and molecular biology.
Prior experience in electrophysiology and molecular biology is preferred. The successful candidate should be an ambitious scientist with great enthusiasm for research. Applicants should preferably have a Ph.D. in neuroscience or a closely related area.
