Job Description
The Department of Radiation Oncology at the Washington University School of Medicine has an immediate opening for a post-doctoral research associate in Cancer Biology and/or Radiobiology. The laboratory will involve a wide range of collaborative work on molecular signaling pathways, development of novel radiation sensitiziers, molecular imaging and targeting of cancer cells.
Current projects in the lab include: validation and characterization of nerve growth factor receptor activation, signaling and cellular response following irradiation; glucocorticoid-mediated upregulation of cell surface proteins in tumor cells; radiation-guided nanoparticle therapy of tumors.
Requirements: Ph.D. in molecular biology, neuro-oncology, genetics, immunology or a related field. This person should have extensive experience in common molecular biology techniques.
