Job Description
Postdoctoral positions are available to work on several projects in the Department of Biochemistry and the BioTechnology Institute at the University of Minnesota.
The objectives of the projects are to engineer microbial communities and bacteria for biofuel/bioenergy production. Research involves i.e. genetic engineering of metabolic pathways and regulatory networks.
Experience in genetic engineering, microbiology and biochemical analysis is desired. The successful candidates should have a recent Ph.D. in the biological sciences, bioengineering or related fields. Candidates that are already in the US will be given preference. Applications will be accepted until positions are filled.
