Job Description
Cincinnati Children’s Research Foundation seeks qualified candidates for postdoctoral positions who want to advance their careers at one of the world’s top pediatric research, care and educational institutions. In 2009, our sponsored program awards totaled $137 million, and our NIH funding of over $100 million places us among the top two children’s research hospitals in the U.S. Our medical and research faculty comprise the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Each year, we train more than 800 postdoctoral fellows, graduate students, residents and physicians in over 1 million square feet of state-of-the-art laboratory facilities. Our newest research building opened recently at the end of 2007.
Translational and clinical research efforts are a key focus, supported by sophisticated facilities and equipment for bioinformatics, functional genomics and proteomics that enable us to generate and process genomic information for an array of animal and human studies. With internationally recognized faculty and fascinating laboratory opportunities, we offer postdoctoral positions in 40 research areas ranging from basic developmental biology to clinical studies.
